CEO of Jacaranda Finance, Daniel Wessels, was been named the 2022 Young Trailblazer of the Year at the Business News Australia Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. With a keen focus on advanced technology and customer service, this award recognises Dan and Jacaranda’s hard work at becoming the go-to digital lender for everyday Australians.

In 2021, Jacaranda Finance was proud to be named in the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100 List, coming in at number 53. This recognition celebrates our innovative and agile approach to consumer finance which has ultimately landed us a spot amongst Australia’s fastest growing companies. An article was also published by the AFR, recognising the growth of Jacaranda Finance and our use of alternative data and in-house custom built lending platform which enabled the business to overcome market challenges throughout the pandemic.

Jacaranda Finance was proud to be named as an Australian Small Business Champion Award  winner in the Financial Services category. The program aims to acknowledge and encourage high standards of excellence within outstanding Australian small businesses. Jacaranda Finance’s CEO and Founder, Daniel Wessels, was named as a finalist for the Small Business Entrepreneur Award for the fourth consecutive year, beating out over 3,000 entries.

Daniel Wessels was honoured to be included in the Courier Mail’s Top 20 Under 40 Queensland Entrepreneurs which recognised the company’s growth from its humble beginnings in 2014. Jacaranda Finance has now grown an impressive $50 million loan book and processes thousands of loan applications everyday. Our commitment to providing Australians with fast, fair and responsible personal loans has never waivered, as we continue to offer award-winning consumer finance to thousands of Aussies.

Daniel Wessels was included once again in the list of finalists for Business News Australia’s 2021 Young Entrepreneur Awards in the Finance category.

Erin Filewood, Jacaranda Finance Head of Employee Success, was named as a finalist in the 2021 Women in Finance Awards for the Wellness Program/Initiative Of The Year category. This finalist nomination acknowledges both Jacaranda Finance and Filewood’s work to advocate for women’s health and wellness initiatives amongst our peers and community.

Despite the challenges COVID-19 brought about for Jacaranda Finance in 2020, CEO and Founder, Daniel Wessels, emerged as a successful entrepreneur who demonstrated his agility and innovation during trying times. In turn, he was awarded the Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Finance sector. The award was presented by Business News Australia, recognising Wessels' spot as a leader in the fintech sector who is committed to adopting new technologies.

Jacaranda Finance was acknowledged by the Australian Enterprise Awards who recognise the success of businesses and individuals across Australia. In 2020, Jacaranda Finance was awarded the title of Best Personal Cash Lending Provider, for our inclusive approach to lending which offers borrowers with the speed and convenience they rely on, whilst championing responsibility.

Our customers are always at the forefront of what we do here at Jacaranda Finance, so earning an award rated by Australian consumers is extremely important to us. In 2020, Australia’s largest consumer review aggregator, ProductReview, awarded Jacaranda Finance with a spot amongst the site’s best-performing services in the personal loans category to recognise our popularity over the past 12 months.

In 2019, Jacaranda Finance was proud to be awarded the title of Champion of Financial Services at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Beating out over 2,500 applicants for the top spot, this award was no small feat for the company. Jacaranda Finance was publicly acknowledged as an outstanding up-and-coming financial services provider in front of over 1,100 guests who celebrated the business’ unique approach to personal finance.

As Founder and CEO, Wessels positioned Jacaranda Finance as a force to be reckoned with in the professional services industry, giving thousands of Australians access to fast, fair and responsible personal loans.

Against the backdrop of Daniel Wessels’ hometown, Brisbane, he took home Business News Australia’s Young Entrepreneur Award for Professional Services in 2018. It was a wonderful achievement to win against some fierce competition and to ultimately be acknowledged as the successful Founder and CEO of Jacaranda Finance.
